A bit about me...

Hey there, my name is Rachel and I have been living in the beautiful North West of the country since relocating from London in 2024.
I recently set up this website and am excited to be stepping out solo to share my expertise in RSHE with primary schools in Cheshire West and beyond. Previously working as the Primary Schools Specialist for the charity acet UK, I have taught and trained teachers, students and other professionals in both London and the North West in how to support young people to have healthy relationships and positive mental wellbeing.
I have an extensive background in primary school teaching, experience in foster caring and have worked in the field of Relationships, Sex and Health Education for almost a decade, My specialism is in primary RSHE (but can also recommend an excellent secondary trainer and specialist in Chester) as I have spent the past few years writing and producing materials for acet UK. I am hugely passionate about the subject and have had excellent feedback from teachers and students about the sessions, which involve interactive activities and discussion.
One of the things that I most love is creativity, so school sessions are designed to include games, art, role play and hands on activities! Whether that's using story sacks to go with lessons on emotional regulation or playing a pass the period product game, you will find that lessons are created to engage young learners so that they remember RSHE as a fun and positive learning experience. You may be able to tell from the front page of the website that I also love colour and am a huge fan of a multi-sensory approach for SEND learners. The yellow and black car I'm standing next to in my profile picture is called Bumble Bee, hence the name of my RSHE programme for primary school pupils on a number of DfE linked topics.
